We thought it might be interesting for you to see more photos of where we stay each night – it is easy to focus on the good bits but not everywhere we stay is beautiful – the motorhome dealer’s yard in Tampere springs to mind. So welcome to ‘Room with a view’ – every day in September, we will take a photo of the view from our door. We thought about doing it for a week but decided it wouldn’t be too hard to cheat and park somewhere beautiful for seven nights – if we do it for a month, that will become a bit trickier so you will see warts and all, come rain or shine. If we stay somewhere for more than one night, you will get the same view twice, although the weather or light might be different. Then again, it might not.
Of course, we are cheating a little bit. Although it is nice to start on the first day of the month, it helps that we are in yet another beautiful place, the Stora Sjöfallet National Park, part of the Laponia World Heritage site in the far north west of Sweden. Did I mention that we are back in Sweden? Well, I have now.
‘Room with a view’ will be in addition to any other waffling that we do, so more to come on the national park in another post – this photo is just a little teaser. And, don’t expect the daily photos to actually appear each day – when we post them will depend on internet connection and whether we have something better to do, like get outside and explore some of this amazing countryside.
